StartLogging ("we", "us", "our") provides a time-tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using StartLogging you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information: when you register, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
Usage data: the time entries, tickets, and projects you create within the app.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and diagnostics.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the time-tracking service.
To authenticate you and secure your account.
To display your tracked time, projects, and reports back to you.
To maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the application.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, we use your Google profile (name, email, avatar) solely to create and identify your account. We do not access any other Google data, and we do not share this information with third parties.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g. hosting infrastructure) or to comply with the law. If you join a shared project, your name and the time you log on that project are visible to that project's admins.

Data Retention

We retain your account and time-tracking data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can edit your profile in the app, or contact us to request access or deletion.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
